1980 Triumph TR8 restoration project8.8.21

I have lusted over a Triumph TR8 since I was 17 and first read about them in Car & Driver. “Nothing less that the reinvention of the sports car” was the advertising line at the time and I would look at the TR8 in the showroom at the Frederick JTR showroom and imagine having one. This particular car was discovered in New Mexico and is rust free and mechanically restored with a new rebuilt engine, transmission and differential as well as Koni shocks and powder coated suspension. It will get a new interior and paint job to complete the restoration. 100% stock and will remain so under my ownership, I will look for a 2nd one to modify more for performance.
